South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-85 in Anderson County, SC on August 25th, 2021. Police say the happened around 4:42 p.m. A tractor trailer reportedly veered from the road after suffering a tire blowout. It veered into a group of trees, trapping the driver, 45-year-old Gilbert Ray Bennett Jr. Bennett suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Additional information was not immediately available.
