Cherokee County Sheriffs' Office authorities have information on a crash that killed one person at Love's Travel Center in Cherokee County, SC on November 1st, 2023. Officials say it happened around 11:10 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer is said to have entered into a Love's Travel Center parking lot as 29-year-old John Victor Vanslytman performed maintenance on his pickup truck. Officials say Vanslytman was standing on a ladder at the time of the incident, working under the hood of the truck.
