State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at Five Chop Rd and Creekmeadow Circle in Orangeburg, SC on October 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened round 5:40 a.m. According to investigators, a southbound tractor-trailer was involved in a collision with an eastbound Lexus. Police were not yet able to say how the collision occurred by did confirm the driver of the Lexus suffered fatal injuries. A passenger in the Lexus and the truck driver were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not available.
