What Happened

State Troopers are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that killed a person at I-77 in York County, SC on January 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4 p.m. and began with a Kia Coronado slowing for traffic ahead being struck by a box truck operated by 42-year-old Kevin Brazzell. It then collided with a Chevrolet Utility Van operated by 29-year-old Michael Garvin and a BMW operated by 29-year-old Moura Maseha. The driver of the Kia suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The other driver were reportedly uninjured. Additional information was not immediately available.
