Charleston County Sherif's Office authorities are investigating a collision that killed a driver at Hwy 162 in Charleston County, SC on November 15th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:10 p.m. A Dodge passenger vehicle headed westbound is accused of turning left into the path of an eastbound box truck. An occupant of the Dodge, believed to be the driver, was identified as 77-year-old Rex Kingsley. Kingsley was transported to an area hospital with injuries he died from shortly after arrival. The box truck driver was hospitalized with moderate injuries. Further information was not available.
