South Carolina Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-95 in Dillon County, SC on July 14th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:35 a.m. A 2019 Toyota 4Runner was slowing for traffic ahead when it was struck in the rear by a tractor-trailer. The Toyota was pushed from the road and overturned while the tractor-trailer also veered from the road and overturned. The driver of the Toyota and one passenger died at the scene. The tractor-trailer driver and another Toyota passenger were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not available.
