What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-65 in Williamson County, TN on September 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened when a dump truck suffered a tire blowout. A Honda Civic behind the truck collided with the rear of the truck after the tire blow out and veered into a median. The truck crossed over the median as a result and overturned into a northbound lane of traffic, fatally injuring the driver. The driver was identified as 70-year-old James Baker. The other three drivers involved were not injured.
