What Happened

Tennessee Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision that killed a person at I-75 in Tennessee on August 7th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5 a.m. A tractor-trailer collided with a pickup truck after the pickup truck swerved to avoid a fallen tree. The truck veered into an embankment and into the woods  64-year-old Mitchell Allmon suffered fatal injuries. Two other people were injured in the crash.
