Tennessee Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-75 in McMinn County, TN on August 4th, 2021. Police say the incident happened when a tractor-trailer made an improper lane change and caused an Acura passenger car to lost control and veer into a median. The truck then veered into northbound lanes and struck a Dodge Ram, causing the driver of the Ram fatal injuries. The driver of the Acura, Wender Rochez, faces charges including leaving the scene of a crash, failure to report a crash , no driver's license and vehicle not registered.
