What Happened

Police are investigating a crash that injured at least one person at State Hwy 288 in Brazoria County, TX on September 29th, 2024. Officials believe it happened around 9:09 p.m. Reports are claiming a southbound vehicle on Hwy 288 lost control and struck a concrete barrier, coming to a stop. This caused three other following vehicles to collide into the back of the first vehicle.   Police say one driver, identified as 23-year-old Aaliyah Casas, was seriously injured. The other drivers, including the driver of the alleged suspect vehicle, were uninjured.
