Area authorities have details on a crash that injured a driver at I-20 in Fort Worth, TX on January 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:50 a.m. A Ford F-150 operated by 24-year-old Abelino Perez Campuzano was reportedly headed westbound in eastbound lanes, causing a tractor-trailer to jack knife while attempting to avoid a collision. The Ford struck the jack knifed truck before it continued and struck a Tesla Model S. The drivers of the truck and Tesla were not injured. Campuzano suffered serious injuries. Police allege he was intoxicated at the time of the crash and records indicate a Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and/or issued.
