What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Business 77 in Victoria, TX in March 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:25 a.m. According to police, a commercial truck operated by a 35-year-old Victoria man was headed southbound in an outside lane while a BMW operated by 44-year-old Adam Garcia was traveling in a center lane. Police believe the truck changed lanes when unsafe in order to avoid a collision with a vehicle ahead, striking the BMC in the process. Garcia suffered minor injuries in the collision. The truck driver was uninjured.
