Brownsville Police are investigating a crash that killed an officer's father on Dr Hugh Emerson Rd in Brownsville, TX on April 16th, 2022. Police responded to the accident around 8:50 p.m. Investigators are saying a motorcycle headed westbound on Dr Hugh Emerson Rd was turning right onto Paredes Line Rd before colliding with a northbound Ford F-150. They believe the motorcycle, operated by 62-year-old Adolfo Humberto Guerra, failed to yield to the Ford. The impact ejected Guerra and his passenger, 52-year-old Ana Margarita Guerra, from the bike. Mr. Guerra suffered fatal injuries at the scene while his passenger was hospitalized in stable condition. Additional information was not immediately available.
