What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at Gateway East in El Paso, TX on February 17th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:48 p.m. According to investigators, a Volkswagen Beetle was headed eastbound in a left turn lane before allegedly proceeding into the intersection on a red light. The vehicle is said to have been involved in a t-bone colliding with a Dodge Charger headed southbound before sliding into an adjacent lane and colliding with a stationary Ford Expedition. The crash left the driver of the Volkswagen, identified as 42-year-old Adrian Dominguez, seriously injured. Reports say Dominguez was hospitalized with injuries that later became fatal.
