What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at Sam Houston Parkway in Houston, TX on December 14th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:30 a.m. A vehicle operated by Adrian Turner is believed to have been headed eastbound possibly crashing into a guardrail. The vehicle was stopped in main travel lanes with active emergency lights as Turner was standing outside the car. Police say an approaching vehicle struck Turner, who suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The driver involved did remain at the scene and police say they showed no signs of impairment.
