Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at McArdle Rd in Rodd Field Rd in Corpus Christi, TX on August 23rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:21 a.m. A Dodge Caliber operated by 36-year-old Agustin Lopez Cruz Jr was headed eastbound on McArdle Rd when it veered out of its lane across a center turn lane. The vehicle continued to drift left and collided with a tree. Cruz suffered serious injuries in the collision and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
