Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Grand West Pkwy in Harris County, TX on July 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:40 a.m. According to investigators, a Sprinter van operated by 44-year-old Ahmadi Pascual was headed eastbound on TX 99 when it collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer stopped for traffic ahead. The tractor-trailer was reportedly making a lane change due to a construction related lane change ahead at the time. Pascual was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from .
