What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at Meadow Ave in Laredo, TX on January 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:35 p.m. A Nissan Titan operated by a 36-year-old Laredo man was headed northbound on South Meadow Ave when it failed to control its speed and crashed into a sidewalk. It then collided with a Toyota Camry operated by 64-year-old Aida Garza De Rojas. The Camry overturned and struck a mailbox, causing her serious injuries. A 93-year-old passenger was evaluated for possible injuries. The Laredo man suffered minor injuries and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to Control Speed and No Driver's License.
