What Happened

Amarillo Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at 11th Ave and N Buchanan St in Amarillo, TX on February 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:31 a.m. A Toyota Scion operated by Aidan Garcia is said to have been headed northbound on Buchanan when it lost control at a curve and veered from the road. It then overturned and Garcia, who allegedly was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. Further details were not available.
