What Happened

Arlington Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at New York Ave in Arlington, TX on September 17th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:46 a.m. According to investigators, 42-year-old Aisha Wells was struck by a Ford Expedition headed southbound while attempting to cross New York Ave. Wells was taken to an area hospital with injuries she later died from. The driver and vehicle remained at the scene for police questioning and is not currently facing charges.
