Area authorities have information related to a collision at a drive thru on Matlock Rd in Arlington, TX on July 30th, 2021. Police say it happened around 9:41 p.m. A Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by 38-year-old Melissa Wisdom was at a Sonic drive-thru behind a Mini Cooper operated by 61-year-old Alan Hammer. The Jeep collided with the rear of Mini Cooper and Hammer was seriously injured. Wisdom was evaluated for possible injuries and issued a charge of DWI.
