What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at FM 1960 in Dayton, TX on March 3rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:15 a.m. Police are saying a tractor-trailer operated by a 25-year-old Hempstead man was headed westbound on FM 686 when it turned into a station and went though a parking lot to enter eastbound traffic. It then reportedly made a wide right turn to head onto County Rd 611 when it struck a Chevrolet C1500 at the stop sign. The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 39-year-old Alan Joseph St Julian.
