What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at Plano Rd in Dallas, TX on October 10th, 2022. Investigators say a Dodge Ram 1500 operated by 30-year-old Jose Rodriguez Ledzema was headed eastbound on Forest Lane before it allegedly disregarded a traffic signal and collided with a northbound Honda Accord. The driver of the Accord, identified as 50-year-old Alazar Haile, was seriously injured in the collision. A passenger in the Dodge suffered minor injuries while Rodriguez Ledzema was evaluated for possible injuries. Officers expressed suspicion of possible alcohol involvement in the crash.
