Police say the incident happened around 11 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Elantra operated by a 25-year-0ld driver who was not publicly identified was eastbound at the time. The vehicle is said to have performed a lane change as a pedestrian ahead allegedly crossed south to north into an eastbound lane. The vehicle made contact with the pedestrian, identified as 26-year-old Albert Cordero Luna, causing serious injuries.
