What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at Scyene Rd in Dallas, TX on November 18th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:06 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle, operated by 50-year-old Alejandro Lopez, was westbound on Scyene Rd before making a turn to headed northbound. Police say the vehicle traveled through the grass and across westbound lanes at the Elmira St intersection before entering into eastbound lanes while headed westbound. There, police say the vehicle collided with a Ford F-350, the impact ejecting Lopez from the vehicle. Lopez suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The other driver, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly injured. Additional information was not available.
