Odessa Police are investigating a collision that killed an individual at Everglade in Odessa, TX on October 27th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 1:35 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Charger is alleged to have struck an individual under unclear circumstances before fleeing the scene. Reports say the individual, identified as Alex Bingham, was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Police say the driver was later located and allegedly identified as Juan Contreras, who reports say was arrested on a charge of Intoxication Assault. Additional inforamtion was not available.
