What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at t Georgetown Rd in Grayson County, TX on September 18th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:29 p.m. A Chevrolet Corvette operated by 60-year-old Alan Wright was reportedly headed eastbound on Georgetown Rd while approaching a curve at an unsafe speed. The vehicle then veered from the left side of the roadway into a ditch and collided with a tree. The impact caused the vehicle to rotate and roll into an east ditch, causing serious injuries to both Wright and his 28-year-old male passenger. Police issued charges against Wright for Unsafe Speed and Open Container in Motor Vehicle-Driver.
