Police say the incident happened around 1:51 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Charger headed eastbound is said to have collided with the rear of a Ford pickup truck at a high rate of speed. Reports claim the Dodge caught fire in the impact, 23-year-old passenger, Alexandra Vargas, suffering severe burns. Reports say she was hospitalized with injuries she later died from.
