What Happened

Police are investigating a crash that injured two people at FM 471 in Medina County, TX on August 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:35 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado headed southbound on FM 471 is said to have veered from the road into an improved shoulder before striking a mailbox and returning to the road. Upon doing so, reports say the vehicle collided with a northbound Nissan Frontier. Police say the driver of the Nissan, identified as 71-year-old Alfred Dimick, was seriously injured. The other driver was not publicly identified and was allegedly uninjured. Sources indicate that driver was charged with Intoxication Assault. Additional information was not available.
