What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 258 in Socorro, TX on October 16th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:03 a.m. A Chevrolet Silverado operated by 32-year-old Alfredo Solano was headed eastbound on Socorro Rd when it veered from the road into a street sign. It also reportedly struck a cinder block wall and a private porch before crashing into a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Solano suffered serious injuries in the crash and issued a citation for Driving on Roadway Lane for Traffic.
