Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 105 in Washington County, TX on May 28th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:11 p.m. According to investigators, an Acura MDX operated by 41-year-old Alissa Abke was headed eastbound on State Hwy 105 when it reportedly veered from the road and overturned. Abke was ejected from the vehicle as it came to land in a barrow ditch. A front seat passenger suffered minor injuries while Abke suffered fatal injuries. Police suggested suspicion of possible alcohol involvement in the crash.
