Area authorities are investigating a collision that killed a pedestrian at Fannin St in Houston, TX on January 20th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:54 p.m. According to investigators, a pedestrian was struck by an unknown vehicle at a parking lot. After striking the pedestrian, identified as 33-year-old Allen Phillips, Phillips became trapped under the vehicle. The vehicle continued to exit the parking lot, striking Phillips once more as it did so, before fleeing the scene. Philips suffered fatal injuries in the incident and police continue to search for the driver involved.
