What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that killed one person at North Freeway in Harris County, TX on February 17th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 10:46 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Altima was northbound on the service road while a Chevrolet Equinox traveled ahead of it. Reports allege the Nissan performed an unsafe lane change before colliding with the rear of the Chevrolet before also striking a Dodge Ram 2500 and a tree. The collision left the driver of the Equinox, identified as 42-year-old Allison Elizalde, fatally injured. The condition of the other drivers was not shared.
