Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at River Rd and Hueco Springs Loop Rd in Comal County, TX on July 16th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:58 p.m. A Chevrolet Malibu 28-year-old Allison Noel Garcia was previously headed eastbound on River Rd when it veered into a westbound lane of traffic in a no passing zone. From there it crashed head-on into a Ford F-150 operated by 29-year-old Rachel Marie Norton. Norton and her passenger were not injured. Garcia suffered serious injuries and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
