Police say the incident happened around 4:20 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 43-year-old Adonijah Watts was slowing to enter a center turn lane headed northbound on FM 116. Officials say the vehicle began making a wide right turn onto Elijah Road as a Chevrolet Tahoe allegedly attempted for pass. The vehicle vehicles collided a the intersection, leaving the driver of the Tahoe, identified as 41-year-old Allison Pearl Gallegos, with suspected serious injuries.
