What Happened

Authorities in Fort Worth, TX, are investigating a fatal two-vehicle collision that occurred on January 19, 2025, at approximately 1:51 a.m. at the intersection of North Beach Street. A 1996 Dodge Dakota was traveling west when it allegedly disregarded a stop sign and collided with a  Ford Ranger traveling north. The driver of the Ranger, identified as 68-year-old Alonso Hernandez Armenta, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead. A 51-year-old male passenger in the Dakota, identified as Pedro Romero, sustained minor injuries. The crash was attributed to disregarding a stop sign and alcohol consumption. The investigation is ongoing.
