What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at I-35 in McLennan County, TX on July 10th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:20 a.m. A commercial truck was said to have been headed southbound in a left travel lane when it began to veer into a middle lane already occupied by a Nissan Armada operated by 33-year-old Alvaro Lara Martinez. The truck struck the Armanda and the impact caused the Armada to crash into a guardrail before the truck continued onward without stopping. Martinez suffered minor injuries in the collision.
