Area authorities are investigating a hit-and-run that left an active duty soldier killed at Lee Trevino Blvd in El Paso, TX on June 12th, 2022. Officials say the incident happened just before 12:35 a.m. Investigators believe 20-year-old Alyssa Rae Clinger was crossing westbound to eastbound on the Lee Trevino Blvd curb when she was struck by a pickup truck. The truck involved did not stop to render aid and left the scene prior to police arrival. Clinger suffered serious injuries she later died from. Additional details were not yet available.
