Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 95 in Bell County, TX in November 11th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:56 a.m. According to investigators, a Mazda CX-5 operated by 56-year-old Amanda Renee Martinez was headed northbound on State Hwy 95 before it hydroplaned into a guardrail before sliding into a southbound lane of traffic into the path of a tractor-trailer. The two vehicles collided, causing Martinez to be ejected from the vehicle and causing fatal injuries. A 2-year-old child in the vehicle was also seriously injured. The driver of the tractor-trailer, 28-year-old Frai Vazquez Hernandez, suffered minor injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
