Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 54 in Hartley County, TX on August 7th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:32 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-250 operated by 27-year-old Anthony Egerton was headed southwest on US Hw 54 before veering from the road into a north ditch. While attempting to correct nail onto the road, the vehicle lost control and overturned into a fence, ejecting both Egerton and a passenger from the vehicle. Both Egerton and the passenger, 28-year-old Amanda White, were seriously injured and hospitalized for treatment. Additional information was not available.
