Authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least one person at FM 1847 in Brownsville, TX on February 15th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 1:05 a.m. According to investigators, a Mercedes-Benz GLE was southbound on a left turn lane before entering the intersection towards Carlos Ave. The vehicle is said to have  collided with a Chevrolet Traverse before the driver of the Mercedes-Benz allegedly left the scene. Reports indicate 38-year-old Chevrolet passenger, Amy Atkinson Flores, was seriously injured in the crash. Additional information was not immediately available.
