Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-45 in Alma, TX on August 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:35 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by a 68-year-old Corsicana driver was southbound before allegedly failing to remain in its lane. The vehicle is said to have made a lane change before striking a Chevrolet Tahoe. The collision left the driver of the Tahoe, identified as 40-year-old Ana Acosta, with suspected non-life-threatening injuries. A 9-year-old passenger also had non-life-threatening injuries. Police say the Corsicana man had more serious injuries and sources indicate an Open Container in Motor Vehicle charge was recommended and/or issued against the driver.
