Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 71 in Bastrop County, TX on June 30th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:24 a.m. According to investigators, a Kia headed westbound in eastbound lanes is said to have collied head-on with an eastbound Chevrolet Malibu. Reports say the impact caused the Malibu to overturn, seriously injuring 49-year-old driver, Anayancy Melara.
