What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at Municipal Ave in Plano, TX on June 16th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:20 a.m. A Toyota Camry operated by 35-year-old Andrea Chrysafis was in a left northbound lane when the vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer performing a wide left turn. Police say that Chrysafis mentioned believing the truck was changing lanes rather than turning. Police further state that driver inattention and the wide turn contributed to the crash. Chrysafis and her passenger, 34-year-old Travis Leon Jackson, both suffered minor injuries in the crash. The truck driver was not injured.
