Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a woman at 16th St and Allie Payne Rd in Orange, TX on March 1st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:41 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Tundra operated by 29-year-old William Poluk was headed southbound on 16th St in an outside lane when it allegedly failed to control its speed and colliding with the rear left side of a Chevrolet Malibu operated by 30-year-old Lauren Beach. Her passenger, 28-year-old Andrew Beach, suffered serious injuries while she and the other driver were evaluated for possible injuries. Records indicate a DWI investigation was opened and a Failure to Control Speed charge was issued.
