Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 59 in Fort Bend County, TX on July 2nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:46 p.m. A Dodge Ram 1500 operated by 43-year-old Andrew Steven Konyha reportedly was headed southwest on a feeder road when it entered main travel lanes through a grassy median, almost striking an 18-wheeler. It then veered back onto the feeder road and back onto the grassy median where it went into a ditch and struck a tree. Konyha was seriously injured in the crash.
