What Happened

San Antonio Police are investigating a collision that killed a person at State Hwy 16 in San Antonio, TX on November 17th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:15 a.m. A Nissan Rogue was reportedly headed southbound on the highway when an 18-wheeler is said to have allegedly pulled into the path of Rogue. The vehicles collided and the Rogue traveled under the truck before becoming lodged. The driver of the Rogue, 21-year-old Angel Gonzalez, died at the scene. Police did not indicate if the truck driver was injured and had no additional information to share.
