Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a pair of drivers at TX 24 in Hunt County, TX on August 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:13 p.m. A Chevrolet Impala operated by 66-year-old Angel Rivera was reportedly headed eastbound on FM 499 when, according to witnesses at the scene, it ran a stop sign. It collided with a Dodge Durango operated by 64-year-old Ray Jackson, causing minor injuries to Jackson. Rivera was more seriously injured and charged with Disregarding a Stop Sign.
