What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at TX 183 in Irving, TX on September 15th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 7:31 p.m. Investigators say that both drivers involved in the collision had a different version of events regarding how they collided but ultimately determined that a tractor-trailer operated by a 37-year-old Orlando, FL man changed lanes when unsafe and collided with a Ford Mustang operated by a 35-year-old woman. Neither driver was injured, however, 56-year-old Mustang passenger, Angelica Castaneda, suffered minor injuries.
