Police are investigating a crash that injured several people involved at I-35 in Lewisville, TX on September 24th, 2024. Officials say the incident happened around 10:08 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda HR-V is said to have crossed between traffic cones in a construction zone, across multiple lanes. In the process, reports claim the vehicle traveled into the path of a tractor-trailer while attempting to take an on-ramp, the vehicles colliding as a result. Officials say 20-year-old Honda passenger, Angelina Arevalo, was seriously injured. A second passenger, identified as 40-year-old Melanie Tan, had less serious injuries, as did 18-year-old driver, Eva Arevalo. The truck operator was allegedly uninjured.
